Founder of URJA

Bio: In her 30-year career, Liz has held leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline and Valeant Pharmaceuticals. For the past decade, Liz has focused on beauty and skincare - as an entrepreneur, brand builder and mentor – which have been her most defining endeavors! From Indie Product Award Winner to FORBES Leadership “Entrepreneur Spotlight” to Founder of three indie brands, including URJA, her pioneering vision continues to elevate and innovate the skin care category.



Q: Why skincare?
A: It’s in my DNA! My dad spent his 40+ year career at Elizabeth Arden. I have been “testing” anti-aging products since I was 18 years old. Having worked with some of the most reputable labs in the country, I am now fortunate to work side-by-side with one of the finest, most experienced chemists in the beauty space… in our own URJA lab!

Q: Where’s your happy place?
A: Well… I’m a Pisces, so I love the water! My happy place is Cabo… specifically, a little hide-away called the ACRE. The ACRE is a 25-acre working farm, with gardens, orchards, farm to table food + libations and an animal sanctuary. Strolling through the mango trees, daily yoga and playing with the rescue puppies, always re-centers me and fills my heart with gratitude.

Q: What health hack do you live by? What’s your #1 indulgence?
A: Intermittent fasting and bone broth have dramatically improved my overall health: mood, mental clarity, and inflammatory markers. Monthly, we make our own bone broth … it’s so easy and so good for you. My #1 indulgence… if I must admit… is a Cosmo (not too sweet!)

Q: Best piece of wellness advice?
A: Hydration, hydration, hydration… inside and out. Water is magic! Sufficient water flushes toxins from our body and helps us destress both physically and mentally. I love my water with a slice of cucumber or a dropper of CBD. Don’t skip the skin-hydration! Moisturizers containing Hyaluronic Acid, a naturally occurring molecule in our skin, can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water, helping skin retain its moisture and glow. Hydrated skin is smoother, softer and shows fewer fine lines and wrinkles… so, stay hydrated my friends!

Q: Favorite URJA “pro tip”?
A: For my slightly drier skin, I add a few drops of Remedy Face Oil to URJA’s Gentle Foaming Gelée Face Wash. I massage this combination onto my dry (or slightly damp face)… and when in the shower, I include my neck and décolleté. It becomes an oil-based cleanser, removing all makeup and daily grime, leaving my skin clean, soft and healthy. It’s divine!



Meet Molly

Co-Founder of URJA

Bio: Post-graduation from Pepperdine University, Molly worked as a TV Host in the entertainment industry interviewing some of the biggest names in Hollywood, with digital segments boasting 10 million+ views. Off camera, Molly pursued her passion for content creation and branding, working with a handful of female founded start-ups in the lifestyle and beauty spaces. She was instrumental in bringing several different products + digital apps to market. The Universe aligned when Molly decided to pivot from her high-stress daily grind, move back to Arizona, and focus on self-wellness. In 2018, Molly began working on URJA and is now a Co-Founder.



Q: Why skincare?
A: Our skin is a direct reflection of our overall health and well-being. I believe that the mind, body and skin connection is important in feeling our overall best. Knowing that skin is our largest organ, I believe deeply in the importance of treating my skin to pure, quality and natural ingredients. I want everyone to feel confident in their skin.

Q: Where’s your happy place?
A: I feel most alive when traveling somewhere new… I’ve lived in England, Switzerland, NYC, LA, Scottsdale and have traveled to 25+ countries. There is always something inspiring about discovering new places. London is my favorite city in the world.

Q: What health hack(s) do you live by? What’s your #1 indulgence?
A: Health hacks… sleep, stretching + mindfulness! In recent years, the importance of good sleep has become huge for me. Research shows that good sleep helps to improve the immune system, inflammatory markers in the body and overall concentration - all of which I find important. At least several days a week I try to start my day with a “mindful routine”… mornings where I can read a devotional, meditate and get in a workout (I alternate between yoga and SoulCycle) are days when I feel my strongest. #1 indulgence… Wine and snuggles from my dog, Chloé!

Q: Best piece of wellness advice?
A: My mum always says, “Everything in moderation”… I agree!

Q: Favorite URJA “pro tip”?
A: Two of my favorite things = baths and URJA. So, why not combine the two. I add a generous amount of Remedy Face Oil to my bath for an adaptogenic boost + added skin hydration.
